Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM) is a partnership ministry of the State Board of Missions of the Alabama Baptist Convention AND the local Baptist Association of churches. BCM is a recognized student organization on college and university campuses across Alabama and led by a State Board of Missions employed Campus Minister or an association appointed Campus Minister.
BCM exists to serve as an evangelistic outpost directly on the college campus. The organization is student-led and Campus Minister directed in order to reach students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grow faithful Christian disciples and involve students in missions and ministry. This is accomplished through ongoing evangelism efforts, weekly worship, Bible study and fellowship opportunities as well as special state-wide and national student events. BCM works directly with Alabama Baptist churches and works to connect students with a local church while on campus.
Baptist Campus Ministries is funded and made possible by gifts from Alabama Baptist churches through the Cooperative Program and the local Baptist association of churches.
